Players’ averages, Fernando de Guzman of Manila Bank led the scoring with 22.13 points in 15 games played. Arthur Herrera of Concepcion set the most points in a single game with 42 points against Crispa in the second round. The team standings after the two-round eliminations shows Yco on top with 16-2, followed by Toyota with 14-4.

This was the tournament the Toyota Comets won in a Cinderella fashion, defeating Concepcion Motorola in the finale. Concepcion beat Yco in a playoff game for the right to face the Comets in a championship match.
