Imports’ highest output during the Elimination round:

Larry McNeill – 72 points in Gilbey’s 123-139 loss to Great Taste on October 7. In his second game, McNeill hit 57 points in Gilbey’s 110-125 loss to Royal Tru-Orange on August 11. He scored 54 points in Gilbey’s 104-108 loss to Royal in the second round on September 22, and scored 50 points in his PBA debut, a 118-124 Gilbey’s loss to Toyota on opening day on August 5.

Larry Pounds – 60 points in Royal’s 138-125 win over Toyota on October 6. Pounds’ second highest was 59 points in RTO’s 119-118 overtime win over Crispa on September 6. He scored 53 points in Royal’s 125-110 win over Gilbey’s on August 11, and 52 points vs Honda, a 120-117 win on September 29.

Among the locals, Jun Papa had 39 points in Filmanbank’s 115-126 loss to Great Taste on September 29, Bogs Adornado scored 32 points as Crispa handed Royal its first loss in the second round after the Orangemen went unbeaten for nine games, in a 120-109 victory on September 14 in Naga City.

Larry McNeill – 41.75 ppg

Darryl Smith – 36.75 ppg

Dean Tolson – 36.46 ppg

James Robinson – 35.70 ppg

Norm Kelley – 32.25 ppg

Tom Snyder – 31.25 ppg

Glenn McDonald – 29.60 ppg

Bernard Harris – 26.50 ppg

The highest among the locals was Rudolf Kutch of Filmanbank, who average 18.43 points in 16 games, followed by Atoy Co of Crispa with 17.93 points per game.
